Mersea A team have booked themselves a place in the Essex School Games to be held in January at Colchester Garrison with a Runner-Up finish at the Lexden Cup round 3.

Mersea A: Henry , Calum, Amelie, Ruby and Felicity  (Round 1).
The team had a great day three of the tournament with wins against Mildene 38-24, Copford 40-26 and Langenhoe 44-11, this means that the only team to beat them over the duration of the three tournamnets was Tiptree and this was by only two points. Tiptree taking the cup.
Notably Henry  won all his games today along with Amelie who was unbeaten during all three phases to be the best girl in the tournament.

Mersea B: Stanley, Matthew, Felicity , Charlotte and Harrison as reserve.
With wins against Stanway B 35-27 and Fordham 42-17 Mersea B looked good until Tiptree took the wind out of their sails, winning their first three games. Charlotte then came on to show why she was selected for Mersea's team to win 11-8 with a fantastic gutsy performance.

From the nine schools competing, Mersea A & B team were the only teams to break Tiptree's full marks finish showing how strong we are looking in junior squash.
