This weekend Amelie (Year 5) competed in the David Pearson Championship Finals in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
This competition was held after three initial qualifying rounds where Amelie qualified with one win and one second place.
In the final she won two matches confidently and only lost to long time competitor Emma (Suffolk) who has been playing for 4 years and is currently ranked in the top 4 in England, giving Amelie a well deserved trophy for her cabinet. Emma and Amelie both receive a day of training from a top coach as their prize.
