Winter Weather Arrangements

It is always our aim to keep our school open in times of bad weather. There may be occasions when the school has no choice but to close, in cases of heavy snow, loss of heating or running water and in other exceptional circumstances. We will always prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our school community.

Should there be exceptional weather or circumstances and it is deemed necessary to close the school site, you will be notified as early as possible. All families will be informed via email and a message will be posted on the school website. Parents/Carers are also able to look on the Emergency School Closures Page on the Essex County Council website for a list of all school closures in Essex.

If it does snow and the school is open, please ensure your child is equipped with appropriate footwear and warm clothing as we will be going outside, spending time enjoying the experience.

Please can you ensure you have notified the school office and your child's class teacher of any changes to your contact phone numbers and emails so that we can ensure any information is getting to you in a timely manner.

NOW OPEN - Rapid Refills

A message from the Rapid Refill Team

As you may know, we have been working extremely hard, completing training and writng our business plan and were very excited to launch Rapid Refills on Wednesday. We would like to say a big thank you to those of you who supported us and who brought bottles to refill. If you didn’t get a chance to see us or visit us, we will be open every Wednesday from 8.30 – 8.50am and after school from 3.15 – 3.35pm. Our great products are all cruelty free and include: Laundry Detergent and Fabric Conditioner, Bubblebath, Liquid and bar soaps, Body Wash, Shampoo and Conditioner and Washing Up Liquid.

We also stock some healthy snack bags which are Vegan, Dairy Free and Gluten Free. Please come and see us and remember to bring your containers! Please be informed we are a cash only shop. If you know anyone else who would like to make use of our shop, please let them know.
