  We are very pleased to have received a letter of congratulations regarding our school's attainment in phonics.  We are extremely proud to be in top 4% of all primary schools in the country for our phonics outcomes.

• Pumpkin Festival

  FOMISA would like to invite you to their first Pumpkin Festival on 16th October at Mersea Island School. 
  
  Come along and choose your pumpkin from our pumpkin patch, have it carved and join in with our Halloween themed games. Try your luck on our witches hats, or win on our coin toss. There’s tea, coffee, hot dogs and cakes as well as glitter tattoos! You may even find a Halloween outfit on our second hand outfit stall. Come along, have fun and help support our local school.
  
  If you would like to help volunteer on the day, we would love to see you. Please email fomisa@merseaschool.org or leave a note with the office.
  
  If you have Halloween outfits that no longer fit and you wish to donate to the festival, please give them to the school office.
  
  FOMISA greatly appreciates your support and we hope to see you and your family and friends there!
